Concurrent Appoints Retirement Division Head

Concurrent Investment Advisors has named David Montgomery as a managing director and head of the firm’s retirement plan division.

Montgomery comes to Concurrent from OneDigital. Before that, he co-founded and was president of Fidelis Fiduciary Management — now a OneDigital company — which specialized in fiduciary investment management services for retirement plans.

At Concurrent, Montgomery is charged with refining the firm’s retirement offerings, optimizing processes and providing strategic guidance to expand Concurrent’s reach. These efforts will focus on delivering greater value to advisors and to their retirement plan clients.

In a statement, Concurrent executive Eddy Augsten said that Montgomery’s recruitment is part of an ongoing strategic investment in the retirement space to support the firm's long-term growth goals.

“David's expansive expertise in outsourced investments will be key to fulfilling our goal of offering advisors intentional support to grow their practices and strengthen their client relationships,” Augsten said.

Montgomery added that he is “honored to join Concurrent and build a retirement platform that empowers advisors to focus on making a meaningful and lasting impact for their clients.”
